Procedure
Ex ampl e: To create beveled tex t:
This example produces typical 3D beveled text,
w ith equal bevels in front and back.
1. Create text (page 1–273) using default settings.
Font=Arial, Size=100.0.
2. Apply the Bevel modifier .
3. Ty pe -1.0 in the Start Outline field.
4. For Level 1, do the following:
•Type5.0 for Height.
•Type2.0 for Outline.
5. Tur n on Level 2, and do the foll ow in g:
•Type5.0 for Height.
•Type0.0 for Outline.
6. Tur n on Level 3 and do the fo llow ing :
•Type5.0 for Height.
•Type-2.0 for Outline.
7. If needed, turn on Keep Lines From Crossing.

in the Capping group.
