Applying a rotation with the Pivot Point rotates each o bjec t
around its own local axis.

around their collective geometric center. If yo u
transform multiple objects, the software calculates
the average geometric center of all the objects and
uses that for the transform center.

The Use Transform Co ordinate C enter button,

lets you enable rotation or scaling of an object or
objects around the center of the current coordinate
system. When you designate another object as
the coordinate s ystem with the Pick function, the
coordinate center is the location of that object’s
pivot.
