Note:
When Date, Time And Location is chosen,
adjustingthelight’sintensityhasnoeffect.
Setup—Opens the Motion p anel (page 3–817) ,
allowing you to adjust the time, location, and site
of your daylight system.
Sk ylight—Select one of three options for skylight
in your scene:
•
IES Sk y—Uses an IES Sky (page 2–1165) object
to simulate skylight.
•
Sk ylight—Uses a Skylight (page 2–1149) object
to simulate skylight.
•
No Sk y light—No skylight is simulated.
Active—Turns sk yli ght on an d off in the v iew por t.
Motion panel, Daylight and Sunlight system
Control Parameters rollout
This rollout appears on the Create panel, and on
the Motion panel when the light component of the
Daylight or Sunlight system is selected.
Manual Overr ide (Daylight system only)—When on,
you can manually adjust the location of the sun
object in your scene, as well as the intensity value
of the sun object.
Az imuth/Al titude—Displays the azimuth and
altitude of the sun. Azimuth is the compass
directionofthesunindegrees(North=0,
East=90). Altitude is the height of the sun above
the horizon in degrees (Sunrise or Sunset=0).
Time group
Provides settings for the time, date, and tim e zone.
If the location you choose uses Daylight Savings
Time,turnontheDaylightSavingTimecheckbox.
