Parameters rollout
The topic for each kind of Window describes its
unique controls and behavior. Most Window
parameters are common to all kinds of Windows;

Rails and Panels group
Rail Width—Sets the width of the rails in the sash.
#PanelsHoriz—Sets the number of horizontal
divisions in each sash.
# Pa nels Vert —Sets the number of vertical divisions
in each sash.
Chamfered Profile—Chamfers the r ai ls between
the glazed p anels, as in a conventional wooden
w indow. When Chamfered Profile is off, the rails
have a rectangular profile.
Open Window group
Hung—When on, the window slides vertically.
When off, the window slides horizontally.
Open— Specifies the percent that t he window is
open. This control is animatable.

Using S hapes
Shapes are 2D and 3D lines and groups of lines that
youtypicallyuseascomponentsofotherobjects.
Mostofthedefaultshapesaremadefromsplines.
Youusethesesplineshapestodothefollowing:
• Generate planar and thin 3D surfaces
• Define loft components such as paths, shapes,
and fit curves
• Generate surfaces of revolution
•Generateextrusions
