Parameters rollout
Radius—Sets the r adius of the teapot
Segments—Sets the number of divisions for the
teapot or its individual parts.
Smooth—Blends faces of the teapot, creating a
smooth appearance in rendered views.
Teapot Parts group
Turn check boxes on or off for teapot parts. By
default, all are on, producing a complete teapot.
Genera te M a pping Coords—Generates coordinates
for applying mapped materials to the teapot.
Default=on.
Real-World Ma p Size—Controls the scaling
method used for texture mapped materials that
are applied to the object. The scaling values are
cont rolled by the Use Real-World Scale settings
found in the applied material’s

The Plane object is a special t ype of flat polygon
mesh that can be enlarged by any amount at render
time. You can specify factors to mag nify the size
or number of segments, or both. U se the Plane
object for creating a large-scale ground plane that
doesn’t get in the way when working in a v iew por t.
You can apply any type of modifier to the plane
object, such as
