Between the two hierarchy lists, click the
Control Direction arrow button that points
from the selected Dimmer item to the selected
Multiplier item.
8. If youre wiring a photometr ic light, skip this
step. If you’re w iring a standard lig ht, or any
light whose default Multiplier setting is 1.0, do
this:
The Expression box below the selected
Multiplier item contains the word "Dimmer."
Edit this to read "Dimmer/100". This divides
the Dimmer value by 100, giving a 1:1 value
ratio between it and the Multiplier sett ing.
9. Click the Connect button.
Now, when you change the luminaire’s Dimmer
setting, the light source intensity changes as
well.
10. If you like, use the same metho d to wire the
luminaire to any additional light sources in the
light fixture.
Youcanalsousethismethodtowirethe
luminaire’s Filter Color parameter to any light
sources’ color settings.
Create Assembly Dia log
Select one or more objects. > Assembly > Assemble
Use the Create Assembly dialog to name a new
assembly (page 1–97)
and specify a
head object
(page 1–108)
for the assembly.
Interf ace
Name—Specifies the name of the new assembly.
The default name is "Assembly" followed by
a two-place number starting with 01 and
incremented by one for each new assembly.
Cho os e H ead Ob j e ct Lets you choose the type of
object to serve as t he assembly head object.
Open Assembly
Select one or more a ssemblies. > Group menu >
Assembly > Open
The Open command lets you temporarily
disassemble an assembly and access its head and
member objects individually.
You can transform and modif y the head
and member objects within the assembly
independently from the rest of the assembly, then
restore the origina l assembly using the
Close
command (page 1–107)
