Extrusion Type group
Group—Extrusiontakesplacealongtheaverage
normal of each contiguous group of polygons. If
you extrude multiples of such groups, each group
movesalongitsownaveragednormal.
Local N or ma l —Extrusion takes place along each
selected polygon’s normal.
By Polygon—Extrudes or bevels each polygon
individually.
Ex trusion Height—Specifies the amount of the
extrusioninsceneunits.Youcanextrudeselected
polygons outward or inward, depending on
whether the value is positive or negative.
Apply—Applies the settings to the current
selection, retaining them if you then make another
selection.
OK —Applies the settings to the current selection
and closes the dia log .
Cance l—Closes the dialog w ithout applying the
settings to the current selection. Does not reverse

extrusioninsceneunits.
You can extrude sub-objects outward or inward,
depending on whether the value is positive or
negative.
Ex trusion B ase Width—Specifies the size of the
extrusionbaseinsceneunits.
Youcansetthisashighasyouwant,buttheactual
