Parent Particle
A parent particle is an existing particle from which the particle system generates
spawn particles on page 7934 . You can use the Spawn test on page 2912 to create
spawn particles arbitrarily, or the
Collision Spawn test on page 2885 to create
spawn particles as the result of physical interaction between a parent particle
and a deflector.
Particle Diagram
The particle diagram is the graphical depiction of the
particle system on page
7887 in
Particle View on page 2730 . It uses events on page 7770 and wires on
page 7971 to represent the system's elements and logic. You edit the system by
clicking actions on page 7701 and events in the diagram and changing their
values, by adding new actions and events, and by creating wires between
events.
