Description Panel
The description panel, found to the right of the
depot on page 7756 in Particle
View
on page 2730 , displays a text description of any action whose name you
click in the depot. Display of the depot can be toggled with the Particle View
menu command Display > Description.
Diagonal
A diagonal is a line that connects polygon vertices in editable poly and Edit
Poly objects. Its function is primarily to resolve the polygon into triangles at
render time, especially if the polygon becomes non-planar via transformation
of its vertices. Such transformation and certain other operations can,
incidentally, cause automatic rearrangement of a polygon’s diagonals.
