Control Vertex (CV)
Control vertices in the lattice surrounding a NURBS surface
In NURBS modeling, a vertex that controls a CV Curve or CV Surface. The 3D
location of each CV affects the shape of the curve or surface. CVs aren't
constrained to lie on the curve or surface. Each CV has a rational weight that
can be used to adjust the influence of the CV on the curve's or surface's shape.
Controller
Software that controls animation. Controllers handle the following functions:
■ Storing animation key values
■ Storing procedural animation settings
■ Interpolating between animation key values
