Toolbars
Many of the commands in 3ds Max are available as buttons on various toolbars.
By default, two toolbars are displayed : the
main toolbar on page 7284 and the
reactor on page 7290 toolbar. By default, the main toolbar is docked at the top
of the interface. You can, however, place the toolbars wherever you want. See
Customizing the User Interface on page 7475 for more information.
Several additional toolbars are hidden by default:
Axis Constraints on page
7288 ,
Layers on page 7289 , Extras on page 7290 , Render Shortcuts on page 7291 ,
Brush Presets on page 7293 , and Snaps on page 7292 . To turn any of them on,
right-click a blank area of the main toolbar and choose the toolbar's name
from the list. You can use this method to turn any toolbar on or off.
See
Customize Display Right-Click Menu on page 7479 for more information.
