Utilities panel > MAXScript
MAXScript on page 14 is the software's built-in scripting language. Its main
interface, the MAXScript menu, contains the following commands for creating
and working with scripts:
New Script on page 7468
Open Script on page 7469
Run Script on page 7469
MAXScript Listener on page 7469
Macro Recorder on page 7470
Visual MAXScript Editor on page 7471
MAXScript Debugger Dialog on page 7472
In addition, the
status bar on page 7308 contains a MAXScript Mini Listener
on page 7309 , and MAXScript functionality is also available from the Utilities
panel
on page 7463 .

Help Menu
Menu bar > Help
The Help menu provides access to the 3ds Max online help systems.
Welcome Screen Displays the Welcome Screen dialog that opens by default
when you first run 3ds Max.
User Reference Opens the 3ds Max User Reference online.
MAXScript Reference Displays the MAXScript Reference online. See

Tutorials Displays the online tutorials for 3ds Max.
Data Exchange Solutions Opens your Web browser to a page about software
for exchanging data among applications.
Customer Involvement Program When activated, lets Autodesk collect
anonymous information about your usage of 3ds Max to help us improve the
