As you work, use the Spinner Snap button to

To set the Undo level:
1.
Choose Customize menu > Preferences >
Prefe rence Settings dialog > General panel.
2. Change the value of Scene Undo Levels.
The higher the value of Undo Levels, the more
system resources are required. The default
value is 20.

Leve ls —Sets the number of operations you can
undo. You can see the operation that will be
undone by looking at Undo on the Edit menu.
Reference Coordinate System group
Co nstant—Setsonecoordinatesystemand
transform center for Move, Rotate, and Scale on
the Main toolbar. The coordinate system displayed
in the

Enabl e Vi ewpor t Tool tips—Displays a tooltip when
the cursor pauses over a non-selected object in
the viewports if you are not in sub-object mo de.
Tooltips show the names of objects.
AutoPlay Preview File—Starts the Media Player
automatically at the end of a

Display Cross Hair Cur sor—Displays the mouse
cursor as full-viewport cross hairs, vertical and
horizontal lines extending the full extent of the
active viewport.
Each movement of the mouse is redrawn, so the
cross hairs are relatively slow. If you want to create
akeyboardshortcut,find
CrossHairCursortoggle
in Customize menu > Customize User Interface
> Keyboard panel and specify the keys to use for
the shortcut. If you want to change the color of t he
cross-hairs cursor, Customize menu > Customize
User Interface > Colors panel > Viewpor ts > Cross
Hair Cursor and use the color selector to change
the cursor color.
Display Topology D ependence Warning—Turns of
the topology dependence warning. A warning is
displayed if an object has modifiers and sub-object
selections, and you choose to edit a modifier or
the base object at t he bottom of the modifier stack,
which can adversely affect the object’s topology.
You can a ls o turn off the warning in the warning
dialog. D efault=on.

stack collapse warning. A warning is displayed if
an object has modifiers and sub-object selections,
