The RAM Player Configuration dialog contains
controls for resolut ion, frames, memory usage,
and alpha channel for playing b ack animations.
Inter face
Resolution group
Width—Defines the width at which the file is
loaded.
Height—Defines the height at which the file is
loaded.
Lock As pect Ra ti o—When turned on, Lo ck Aspect
Ratio forces the file to load at the same aspect
ratio, regardless of the Width and Height values
you enter .
If you change the Width of the file, the Height
adjustsaccordingtothefilesoriginalaspectratio.
Adjusting the Height does the same to the Width
value.
Filter Input—When turned on, Filter Input filters
theimageoranimationsothatitbestmaintains
the quality of the original file. When turned
off, filtering does not o ccur, and the image or
animation could be distorted.
Frames group
Start Frame—Specifies a certain frame in an
animation where you want the RAM Player
to begin loading. A value of 1 would start the
animation at its rendered beginning. A value of 5
would start the animation on frame five and any
frame before that would not be loaded.
Num Fra mes—Specifies the total number of frames
to be loaded into the RAM Player.
Memory Usage group
MaximumLets you configure the maximum
amount of memory to use for the RAM player.
This value includes both channels.
Alpha group
Load Into O ther Channel s—When turned on, this
option loads a grayscale alpha channel into the
other channel. This allows you to wipe between
an RGB channel of the animation and the alpha
channel of the animation.
