Note: You can invert the Start and End values
(setting the greater va lue in Start and the lesser
in End) to create a reversed list in the
.ifl file.
6. Click Create to display a file dialog where you
can name and then save your IFL file.
7. Click the Edit button to display a file dialog
whereyoucanchooseanIFLfile,whichthen
appearsintheWindowsNotepad.

Working File Prefix group
After you use the Select button to select a
sequentially numbered file, the prefix name of
thefileappearshere.Forexample,ifthefilesare
tree0000.jpg , tree0001.jpg , tree0002.jpg ,andso
on, the title in this group box would be tree.
Spinners group
Start—Displays the number of the first image file
in the selected sequence. Increase to specify a
different starting image for the IFL file.
End—Displaysthenumberofthelastimagefilein
the selected sequence. Decrease to specif y a lower
endingimagefortheIFLfile.
Ever y nth—Set to a number greater than 1 to skip a
specified number of images in the list.
Multiplier—Adds a multiplier af ter each file in the
IFLlist.Ifyousetto3,eachimageisusedthree
timesbeforethenextimageinthelistisused.
Button set
Select—Displays a file dialog that lets you select a
file in a sequential list. The number appended to
thefiledoesn’tmatter,aslongastheprefixandfile
name extension are the same. After selecting the
file, the spinners in the IFL Manager are enabled.
Cr e a te —Displays a file dialog where you can name
and save your IFL file.
Edit—Displays a file dialog where you can select an
IFL file. The selected fi le is then d isplayed in the
Windows Notepad editor.
Clo se —Closes the utility.
IMSQ Files
The Autodesk ME Image Sequence (IMSQ) format
isanXMLfileusedbytheAutodeskproducts
Cleaner and Toxik. You generate IMSQ files
by turning on Put Image File List(s) In Output
Path(s) and then clicking Create Now in the
Render Output group of the Render Scene Dialog’s
Common Parameters rollout (page 3–27) .The
IMSQ file stores informat ion about the rendering,
including:
• The name of the rendering file
