This panel is used to establish the units and
scaling for the exported model. T hese should
match the original values used when exporting the
preparation file.
Inter face
Master Units—Specifies the units used by the
scene, s o Lightscape can use them as well. To s ee
which units the scene is cu rrently using, choose
Customize > Units Setup. If Master Units do esn’t
match the units specified in the Units Setup dia log,
Lightscape might give unrealistic results.
If your scene uses generic units, you will have to
converttoreal-worldunitsforLightscapetouse.
Inthiscase,youmightalsohavetoadjusttheScale
Factor. The Model Size display can help you do so.
Scale Factor—Givesascalingfactorappliedto
theentiremodel. Anypositiverealnumberis
accepted. You can use this setting to globally adjust
thesizeoftheexportedmodel.
Model Size—The X, Y, and Z extents of the model
are displayed in here.
Lightscape View File Views Panel
Theactiveviewisalwaysstoredintheviewfile.
This panel allows you to choose additional views
that are saved in Lightscape view files. Normally,
the additional views are saved in the same
directory as the preparation file and are named
for their cameras.
This panel is unavailable if no cameras are in the
scene.
Interfa ce
Save to File—Displaysthefilenamethatwillbe
used to save the view for the last camera selected.
You can enter a file name if you don’t want to use
the default.
Browse—ClicktoopenaFileSavedialogand
choosethenameandlocationofthefile.
Views—Liststhecamerasinthescene.Youcan
select any or all of the cameras. A view file will
