foreground image w ith a wipe transition. Unlike
the
Wipe Filter (page 3–353)
,theWipeLayerevent
moves the image, sliding it in or out.
Therateofthewipeisdeterminedbythelengthof
theWipecompositorstimerange.
Procedure
To u se the Si mple Wi pe Compositor :
1.
Add two Scene o r Image Input events to the
queue.
2. Select both events and assign an Image
Layer event consisting of the Simple Wipe
Compositor.
3. Select the Image Layer event and click Edit
Current Event.
4. Click Setup to display the Simple Wipe
Compositor Setup dialog.

The Contrast Filter allows you to adjust the
contrast and brightness of an image.

Co ntrastSet the spinner between 0 and 1.0.
Thiscompressesorexpandsthelatitudebetween
maximum black and maximum w hite by creating a
16-bit look-up t able for any given g ray value in the
image. The computation of the gray value depends
on whether you select Absolute or Derived.
Br ightness—Set the spinner between 0 and 1.0.
This increases or decreases all color comp onents
(red, green, and blue).
