Current Event
The Alpha Compositor composites the two images
using the
alpha channel (page 3–1001) of the
foreground image. The background image appears
in areas where the foreground image’s alpha
channel is transparent.
Procedure
To use the Alpha Compositor f ilters:
1.
Add two Scene o r Image Input events to the
queue.
2. Select b oth events and assign an Image Layer
event consisting of the Alpha Composite Filter.
3. Select the Image Layer event and click Edit

Cross fade fades on e image into another over time.
The Cross Fade Compositor composites the
twoimagesovertime,crossfadingfromthe
background image to the foreground image. The
rate of the crossfade is determined by the lengt h of
the Cross Fade Transition filter’s time range.
There are no Setup options for this compositor.
Procedure
TousetheCrossFadeCompositor:
1.
A dd two Scene or Image Input events to the
queue.
2. Select both events and assign an Image Layer
event consisting of the Cross Fade Compositor.
