Constrai n D eformation—
When on, limits the extent
towhichtheclothcanstretch.
Max—A percentage value that indicates how
stretchy the cloth is: The lower the value, the
less stretching reactor allows.
Star t With Current State—When on, the Cloth
object starts the simulation u sing the current
state stored in the modifier. This can be us eful
if yo u have, for example, draped the cloth
around something in the Preview Window and
then updated the viewport using Update MAX.
When off, the cloth starts with the state it had
originally, below the modifier. Avai lable only when
keyframes are stored.
# K ey fr ames S tored This read-only shows the
number of key frames, if any, stored for the Cloth
object. reactor stores keyframes for the object
if you create a reactor animation, or if you use
Update MAX in the Preview Window .
Clear Key fr a mes—Deletes an y stored keyframes for
the C loth object.
Use Sof t S election—Allows you to use soft selection
to smooth the transition between keyframed and
simulated vertices for this deformable object. For
more information, see Soft Selection (page 2–800).
Reset Default Values—Resets the values for the
Cloth object to their defaults.
Constraints rollout
These options allow you to create different t ypes
of deformable constraints for the body. For more
information, see Constrain ing Deformable Bodies
(page 2–795).

The Cloth Collection is a reactor helper object that
acts as a container for Cloth objects. Once you
have added a Cloth Collection to your scene, you
can add Cloth objects (object with a Cloth modifier
(page 2–778)) in the scene to the collection.
When you run the simulation, reactor examines
the cloth collections in the scene, and, provided
