Note:
All three zoom modes work in Curve Editor ,
but only Zoom and Zoom Time work in Dope
Sheet.
Tip: If you have a three-button mouse, you can
also zoom uniformly by using
Ct rl +A l t +middle
mouse button or by scrolling with your mouse
wheel in the Curve Editor.
Tip: You can also zoom exclusively in time (left and
rig ht) or in va lue (up and dow n) by holding down
Ctrl or Shif t respectively while scrolling with
your mouse wheel in t he Curve Ed itor.
Procedure
To zoom in on time:
1.
On the Navi gation: Track View toolbar,
choose Z oom Time fro
mtheflyout.
2. Click and drag to the
right in the Track View
Key window .
Your view of time expands horizontally in the
Key window .
Inter face
Zoom—Zooms your view of time and values
simultaneously. Zoom remains ac tive until you
right-click to cancel or click another option. The
Zoom button is yellow while active.
Zoom Va lues —In Curve Editor, zooms the
contents of the keys window vertically. Drag
upward to increase magnification, or downward to
decrease magnification.
Zoom Tim e —Zooms the contents of the Key
window horizontally.
Zoom R egion (Tr ack View)
Track V iew > Cur ve Editor or Dope Sheet > Navigation:
Track View toolb ar > Zoom Region
Zoom Region lets you drag a region in the Key
window to scale that region to fill the window.
Zoom Region remains active until you right-click
to cancel or click another option. The Zoom
Region button is yellow while active.
In Curve Editor mode, both time and value are
scaled to fit the Key window. In Dope Sheet mode,
only time is scaled to fit the Key window.
Procedure
To zoom a region of t he Key window:
1. On the Navigation: Track View toolbar,
click Zoom Region.
2. DragawindowintheKeywindow.

Track View windows. Use the Zoom, Zoom
Region, and Zoom Extents tools to na vigate the
Key window .
