right-clicking their range bars.
The Properties button is unavailable in ambiguous
cases, for example, when a key and a Parametric
controller item are both selected.
Pr ocedur es
To display proper ties for a controller, do one of the
following:
Highlight the t rack and then choose Control ler
menu > Properties.
Right-click the track, a nd then on the
Controllers quad choose Properties.
To display the K ey Info dialog for a k ey:
1.
Right-click the key in the Curve Editor Key
Window .
The Key Info dialog is displayed.
2. Change key proper ties i n the dialog.
Track View Utilities
Track View > Utilities menu > Track View Utilities
Track View Utilities displays a dialog listing
plug-in Track View utilities. A typical Track View
utility displays a modeless dialog (though utilities
can b e moda l) and provides func tions that can be
applied across multiple selected keys and tracks.
You can launch more than one utilit y by choosing
Track View Utilities again.
Avail able U tilities
Randomize Keys (page 2–562):Appliesrandom
offset values to Time or Va lue of selected keys
or selected time.
Create Out of Range Keys (page 2–562):Creates
keysintheout-of-rangetimeofatrack,when
theOutofRangetypeissomethingother
than Constant. Thus, it converts the specified
out-of-range area to a keyed area that you can
edit and adjust. Select one or more tracks, set
the parameters of the utility, and click Apply. In
Function Curve display mode, you must selec t
the curve as wel l as the track.
Select Keys by Time (page 2–563):Selectskeys
within a specified start and end range of time.
Lets you select a large range of t ime when using
the mouse mig ht be awkward--for example,
if keys are not visible in the Track View Key
window.
Euler Filter (page 2–564):Displaysadialog
with controls to remove gimbal flipping from
animated tracks using Euler rotation.
Soft Selection Settings Manager (page 2–525):
Displays a dialog with controls to adjust the
rangeandfalloffofthesoftselectionofkeysin
theDopeSheetandCurveEditor.
Current Value Editor (page 2–565):Provides
transform type-in capability from within the
Track View modes. Allows you to choose
betweenabsoluteandrelativevalueediting.
Thenameofthecontrollerappearsabovethe
axis choices. This utility launches a floating
Current Value w indow that works for either
Dope Sheet Edit keys mode or Curve Editor.
It doesn’t work for Edit Ranges.
Procedure
To select a Track V iew utility :
1.
Open Curve Editor, and then from the Utilities
menu, choose Track View Utilities.
2. In the Track View Utilities dialog, choose from
the available utilities, and click OK.
