To add a note tra ck :
1.
On the Track View Dope Sheet toolbar,
click Edit Keys.
2. Highlight one or more item labels in the
Hierarchy list.
3. From the Tracks menu, cho
oseNoteTracks>
Add.
A note t rack is inser ted as a branch directly
below each highlighted item.
To add a note key to a note
track :
1.
Select the Note track (
in Dope Sheet Edit Keys
mode).
2. Click Add Keys.
3. Click a note track in the Keys Window to place
anoteatthatparticularframe.
To edit notes:
1.
Right-click a note ke
ytodisplaytheNotes
dialog.
2. Click inside the edit box, and then start typing.
The first line of your note appears as a label
totherightofthenotekey. Typeaone-or
two-word descripti
on as the first line of your
note. Close t he dialog using the X button at the
top right corner to enter the body of the note.

your note. Press
Enter to start the body of the
note. Press
Enter or click within the text field to
startthebodyofthenote.ClosetheNotesdialog
by clicking the X button at the top-right corner of
the dialog.
Note Number —Indicates which note key you are
working with. Click t he left arrow to move back
to the previous note or the right arrow to move
forward to the next note.
Time—Setsthetimepositionforthenotekey.
Changethevaluetomovethenotetoanewtime.
Lock Key —Locks the key to the Time field. When
set, the key ignores all operations performed with
Move,Slide,andScale. Theonlywaytochange
thekey’stimeistousetheTimefieldintheNotes
dialog.
Remove Note Track
Track View > Tracks menu > Note Track > Remove
UseRemoveNoteTracktodeleteanotetrackand
its associated keys.
You can have toolbar access to Remove Note
Track by unhiding the Tools: Track View toolbar.
This toolbar is available only in the Curve Editor,
however.ThetooltipislabeledDeleteNoteTrack.
