Cellular Map
Material Editor > Maps rollou t > Click a Map button. >
Material/Map Browser > Cellular
Cellular maps create the goblet textures.
The Cellular procedural map generates a pattern
that’s useful for a variety of visual effects, including
mosaic tiling, pebbled surfaces, and even ocean
surfaces.
Tip: TheMaterialEditorsampleslotdoesn’tshow
the cellular effect very clearly. For a better visual
aid to getting the effect you want, assign the m ap
to geometry and render the scene.

Example: To create confetti:
1.
Assign the Cellular map as a Diffuse map.
2. Set the parameters as follows:

Var i a t i o n : 55
Division Colors (use RGB va lues after clicking
the color swatch):
• First: 127, 150, 197
