Cut—Removes the assigned map, and puts a copy
of it in the copy buffer.
Co pyCopies the map without removing it.
Pas te ( Copy)—Pastes a copy from the copy buffer.
This item doesn’t appear if you haven’t yet copied a
map.
Cle ar Removes the assigned map without
copying it.
Open—For bitmaps (page 2–1631) ,launches
whichever application is associated with the
currently assigned 2D map.
This item does not appear for other map types
such as procedural maps.
Reveal Location in Explorer—Launches a copy of
WindowsExplorertodisplaythefolderwherethe
map is saved.
When N o Map Has Been Assigned
If no map has been assigned, all you can do is
paste another:
Pas te ( Copy)—Pastes a copy from the copy buffer.
Pas te (Ins ta nce)—Pastes an instance from the copy
buffer.
When No Map Has Been Either Assigned or
Copied
If no map has been assigned and you have n t
copied a map yet, then no ri ght-click menu
appears at all.
B itma p R ight-Click Menu
This menu appears when you click a button that
specifies an external bitmap (page 3–917).See
Bitmap 2D Map (page 2–1631).
Co pyCopies the bitmap.
Pas t e—Pastes the bitmap from the copy buffer.
Open—Launches whichever application is
asso ciated with the bitmap.

Color Swatch R ight-Click Menu
This menu appears when you right-click a color
swatch.
Note: This menu does not apply to the VertexPaint
modifier’s Color Palette (page 1–950),whichhasits
own right-click menu.
Co pyCopies the color.
Pas t es Pastes a color from the copy buffer.
