Probability—
Set a probability value for r andom
transitions. This is used by Create Random
Motion when a random script is generated.
Lengt h—Sets the number of frames for the
duration of the transition.
Transitions are calculated by matching velocities
inbothclips.Smoothoutabruptvelocitychanges
using longer transitions.
Ease In—Ease in value for t he source clip.
Ease Out—E ase out value for the destination clip.
Transit ion FocusLets you specify a focus point on
the biped where the transition ta kes place. Default
= Center of Mass.
Cent er Of MassThe transition focus is based
on the center of mass position of the biped as it
transitions from one clip to the next.
Lef t Foot Thetransitionfocusisbasedonthe
left foot position of the biped as it transitions
from one clip to the next.
Right Foot—The transition fo cus is based on the
right foot position of the biped as it transitions
from one clip to the next.
B oth Feet—The transition focus is based on an
averaged foot position of both of the biped’s
feet as it transitions from one clip to the next.

Angle—Sets the direction of the destination clip.
The angle of the destination clip is automatically
set for best body fit between the two clips w hen the
Start Frame values change. Use Angle to change
the direction of the destination clip.
Prev ious Transi tion—Go to the prev ious transition
in the script.

script.

Optimize Transition—Displays the
Transit ion
Optimization (page 2–909)
dialog.
Options in the Transition Optimization dialog
allow you to search for a location for the transition.
Go To Sta rt FrameMoves the time slider to the
first frame of the transition.
The number field shows the start frame number.
Start Frame—Set the transition st art frame for t he
source and destination clips in their respective
fields. Duration for the source and destin ation
clips display above the Start Frame fields.
Rolling—Keeptheclipinmotionduringthe
transition.
