2. Exit Figure Mode. Then, expand the
Tw i st Poses rollout.
3. Select the r ig ht upper ar m.
The r ollout controls are enabled because you
selected a three-DOF limb.
4. Use Previous Key and Next Key to cycle
through the different pose presets.
Tip: You can often use these presets as a star ting
point for posing your limbs.
5. Choose
pose1
from the drop-down list.
The biped’s arm extends upwards and shows
some tw isting.
6. Click S et.
This a ssigns the Twist value of 0 to the upper
arm’s tw ist links.
Note: Atwistchangeisalwaysreflectedonboth
sides (in this case, both upper arms).
7. Rotate the upper arm locally around its Y axis
so it extends on the side.
8. Click Add to create a new pose. Rename it Ar m
At Side.
