Use controls on this dialog to change footstep,
trajector y, and play back display.
In the Trajectories group, you can choose between
theBoneBaseorBonetipfortrajectorydisplay.
Youcanshowtheentiretrajectory,ordefinea
range of frames for partial trajector y display.
In the Footsteps group, you can choose colors f o r
the left and right footsteps, and generate various
colors or standard colors in the viewport or Track
View. You can also Show or Hide All Footsteps or
Footstep Numbers.
InthePlaybackgroup,youcandefinewhich
bipeds w i ll appear in Biped Playback. ( This can
be useful for speeding p er formance if your scene
contains a number of bipeds.)

Biped User Interface
TheBipeduserinterfaceissplitupinto“modes”of
operation. You activate these modes by selecting
theappropriatebuttonintheBipedrolloutonthe
Motion panel, which is visible when a biped is
selected.
There are four modes available:
Figure mode is used to change the biped
skeletal structure and to align the biped to a mesh.
Footstep mode is used to create and edit
footstep animation.
Motion Flow mo de is used to create scripts
that combine motion files into longer animations.
Mixer mode i s used to view, save, and load
animation created with the Motion Mixer.
As with other parts of 3ds Max, t he rollouts change
depending on the mode the software is in. When
