The Rescale dialog implements the Rescale World
Units utility, controlling scale factor and whether
it is applied to the entire scene or the current
selection.
Procedure
To rescale an object:
1.
Select an object in the viewport.
2. On the Utilities panel, click the More button,
and in the Utilties dialog, choose Rescale World
Units from the list.
3. On the Rescale World Units rollout, click the
Rescale button.
4. Set the Scale Factor to the desired scale. For
example, setting the scale to a value of 2.0
doublesthesizeoftheobjectthatit’sappliedto.
5. IntheAffectgroup,choosetheSelection
option.
6. Click OK to apply the scale.
Interfa ce
Scale Factor —Specifie s the scaling factor.
OK —Applies the scale.
Can cel—Cancels the operat ion.
Affect group
Scene—Applies the scale to the entire scene.
Selection—Applies the scale only to the cur rent
selection.
