A customized Track V iew user interface:

You can hide or display UI elements as you need to
use them. Customization tools are available from
theTrackViewmenubarorfromseveralTrack
V iew toolbars. You can float or dock the toolbars
to the top, bottom, left, or right of the application
window, for example, floating a toolbar so it is
closer to where you are working.
To customize the Track View UI, right-click
themenubarortheblankspacetotherightof
the Track View toolbars. A right-click menu is
displayed, with commands for the tools you need
to perform your customization.

to perform most Track View
UI customization tasks. Move your cursor over the
blankspacetotherightoftheTrackViewtoolbars
and ri ght-click to display this menu.
Show UI Elements
TogglesonandoffthedisplayofTrackViewuser
interface elements. For example, you can hide or
show the menu bar, scroll bars, the controller and
keys windows, and the time ruler.
Menu Bar
The menu bar g ives access to most of the
tools also found on the toolbars. The menu
barcanbedisplayedorhiddenintheCurve
Editor,DopeSheet,ortrackbar. Themenu
bariscontext-sensitive,soitchangesitsdisplay
depending on which Track View mode is active.
Scroll Bar
Standard Windows scroll bars can be displayed
or hidden for the Track V iew window. These are
useful for navigating complex or lengthy windows.
UsethePanhandbuttontoscrollwhen
these are not visible. The middle mouse button
canalsobeusedtoactivatethepanhandtoscroll
this window.
Windows
There are two side-by-side display areas in Track
View. They are the C ontroller window a nd the
K ey window. The Controller window contains
the Hierarchy list with labeled tracks. The Key
windowdisplaysthekeyseitherascurvesinthe
Curve E ditor, or as boxes or ranges on a grid
in Dope Sheet mode. Use Show UI Elements,
available from the toolbar right-click menu, to
hide either window.
Time Ruler
A movable time ruler is provided. To measure
time, you can move t he time ruler close to the keys
or curves when working zoomed in. Default=on.
