mous e
You can use the w heel on a wheel mouse to zoom
and pan the Track View Key window. Drag with
the wheel to pan, and roll the wheel to zoom. (If
you have a standard three-button mouse, use
CTRL+ALT+middle mouse button to zoom.)
Procedure
To pan in the Key window:
1. On the Navigation: Track View toolbar,
click P an.
2. P osition the mouse cursor ov er the Key
window, and then press and drag to pan.

Track View toolbar > Zoom Horizontal Extents
Zoom Horizontal Extents is a flyout containing the
Zoom Horizontal Extents and Zoom Horizontal
ExtentsKeysbuttons.
Use Zoom Horizontal Extents to show only the
active time segment (page 3–998) ,anduseZoom
Horizontal Extents Keys to show all keys, including
thoseoutsidetheactivetimesegment.
Procedure
To display the active time s egment i n the K ey
wind ow:
• On the Track View status bar, select
Zoom Horizontal Extents.
Theactivetimesegment(lighterbackground
color) is centered in the Key window.

Zoom Hor izonta l E x tents—Adjusts the
magnification of the Track View Key window
horizontally so that all of the active time segment
is visible at once.
Zoom Hor i zontal Ex tents K eys —Scales the
Track View Key window horizontally to display
the full range of al l animation keys. Depending
on your animation, this view could be larger or
smaller than the active time seg m ent.

Track View > Curve Editor > Navigation: Track View
toolbar > Zoom Value Extents
Zoom Value Extents is a flyout containing the
Zoom Value Extents and Z oom Value Extents
Range buttons.
In F unction Curves mode, Zoom Value Extents
adjusts the size of the Track View Key window
vertic ally s o t hat you can see the full heig ht of the
curve. Zoom Value Extents Range also adjusts the
windowverticallybutitzoomsonlytotheheight
of the keyfr ames that are currently in view.
Note: In Dope Sheet mode, Z oom Value Extents
and Zoom Value Extents Range serve no func tion.
Procedures
To zoom to the height of the curves:

In the Hierarchy list, highlight the tracks to
display.
