A track set created from a non-leaf parent track contains
all chi ldren leaf tracks.
Note: If no tracks are highlighted, an empty set is
created.
Delete Track S ets Or Tracks—Removes a
highlighted track set or track set member.
Note: Deleting a track set member does not delete
it in the Track View.
Add T he Track View S election To T he Curr ent
Track Set—
Combines a highlighted t r ack from the
Controller window to the current track set.
Only leaf tracks can be added to a track set. If you
highlight a non-leaf parent tra ck to be added to
the track set, a ll its children leaf tracks are added
instead.
Remove The Track View Selection From The
Cu rren t Track Se t—
Deletes a track set member
from the current track set. The track itself must be
high lighted i n the Controller window.
Highlight Tracks Selected In The Track
View—
Highlights a t r ack set member based on
the current Track View selection. If a track is
shared between track sets, all track set members
are highlighted.
Select The Current Track Or Track Set In The
Track Vie w—
Highlights a track in the Controller
w indow based on the current t rack set member
selection.
Key Time Display
TrackView>CurveEditororDopeSheet>KeyStats:
Track View toolbar > Key Time Display (field on left)
The Key Time edit able field (the field on the left)
displays the frame number (position in tim e)
of the selected key. You can enter a new frame
number or enter an expression to move the key
to a frame.
Using Expressions in the Time and Value
Fi elds
You can enter any expression in the time and
value fields. The variable
n
stands for the key
time or value. An expression can be as complex
as you want, and can involve any funct ion the
expression controller (page 2–315)
uses. For
example, you cou ld enter an expression such as:
n/2+sin(n)*40^n.
The expression parsing in the time field works
only when
Time Configuration (page 3–768)

Time Display is set to Frames. T he expression
parser doesn’t understand SMPTE or Frame:Ticks.
Procedures
Tomoveakeytoaspecificframe:
1.
In Track View, highlight a key.
2. In the Key Time Display, enter the frame
number you want to move the key to.
3. Press ENTER.
Thekey(and,inDopeSheetmode,any
associated keys) moves to the new time.
