Show All Tangents

This feature shows all tangent handles on any
displayed curves.
You can make changes to multiple t angent handles
simultaneously by using Show All Tangents in
combination with Lock Tangents.

You can define keyboard shortcuts for making
tracks keyable. By combining the use of keyable
icons w ith key filters, you can use Set Key
animationmodetoaddkeyframestojust
the tracks you want to work with, and avoid
keyframing other tracks.

When the keyable icons are visible, click the red
icon to turn off the track.
Black key in a circle indicates a track is not k eyable.
Wa rn in g: When you are working with Set Key animation
and you have used key filters to select object parameters
or materials,
all
of the parameters will b e keyed unless
you turn off the track’s keyable property.
Tip:
You can assign a keybo ard shor tcut for making
tracks keyable, by choosing Keyable Property
ToggleintheTrackViewgroup,ontheKeyboard
panel of the Customize User Inter face dialog.
Procedures
To mak e an individual track k eyable:
1.
Select the object in the view por t.
2. Right-click and choose Curve E ditor.
The Function Curve Editor opens, with the
selected object tracks visible.
3. On the Track View toolbar, click Show
Keyable Icons.
4. Click the red k eyable icons for the tracks for
which you want to prevent animation.
The tracks are changed, now marked with a
black key in a circle. These tracks will not
receive keyf rames. On ly the tracks marked with
red keyable icons will.
