Note: Shaders do not appear in the Browser unless you
have enabled the mental ray extensions by using the
mental ray Preferences panel. In addition, shaders don’t
appear unless the mental ray renderer is the currently
active renderer.
The XYZ Generator shader returns 3D mapping
coordinates. You can use its sett ings to adjust a 3D
map. The parameters for this shader are equivalent
to parameters on the
Coordinates rollout for 3D
maps (page 2–1472)

system. Default=0 (Object XYZ).

Object XYZ uses the object’s local coordinate
system.

Lets you use the MapChannel v alue to choose
any channel from 1 to 99.
