Material Editor > Right-click a sample slot. > Render Map
> Render Map dialog
The Render Map dialog is displayed w hen you
use Render Map on the
Sample Slots Rig ht-Click
Menu (page 2–1266)
to render the map displayed
in a sample slot

Time Output group
Thesecontrolsspecifyhowmanyframestorender.
SingleRenders a single frame.
Every Nth Fra me—Renders a regular sampling of
the animation. For example, a value of 8 includes
only every eighth f r ame in the preview. Default=1
(every frame).
Active Time Segment—Renders the
active time
segment (page 3–998)

RangeRenders a custom r ange from the start to
the end fr ame you specify in the spinners b elow.
Dimensions group
Thesecontrolsspecifythesizeoftherendered
frames, in pixels.
WidthSpecifies the frame width, in pixels.
Height—Specifies the frame height, in pixels.
Output group
These controls let you save the rendered map to
afile.
Files—Click to display a file dialog that lets you
specify w here to save the rendered map.
When you click Save in the file dialog , you m ight
see an additional dialog that gives you options
specific to the file type you chose. These are the
file formats available for a rendered map:
AVI (page 3–658)

Save to FileWhen on, the rendered map is saved
to a file. When off, the map is rendered only to a
rendered frame window (page 3–5)

box is unavailable unless you use Files to specify a
file name, when it defaults to on.
