The Area Light Sampling rollout lets you control
thenumberofsamplestousefortheminimum
subdivision size conversion. The values in this
rollout affect rendering performed by the
Default

for area and linear lights. The number of
samples are divided into the area of an area light
or into the length of a linear light.
Note: This rollout only appears on the Modify
panel and replaces the mental ray Area Light
Sampling rollout.
