Saving and Uploading Conguration Files
The MC-III EXP allows a user to save conguration settings in a le that is stored on the users computer and
can be uploaded to the MC-III EXP as needed. Conguration les are easily identied by the .mc3 extension.
The default lename begins with “cong” and uses the following structure:
File Format Filename Structure
.mc3 “cong”<date (YYMMDD)> <time (hhmmss)>.mc3
Example: cong050209133922.mc3 is a conguration le that was
downloaded on February 9, 2005 at 1:39:22 p.m.
Saving a Conguration File
To save current conguration settings for future reference, perform the following steps:
1. Select File>Save Conguration File (Figure 4.35). A “Save MC3 Conguration File” screen (Figure 4.36)
will appear, prompting the user to save the le to the computer hard drive. The default directory is C:\Nu-
Flo log data\MC-III\<WELL NAME>, however the user can specify a new location, if desired.
