6 Troubleshooting
SAM4S ER-900/SPS-300 SERIES 6-5
6-6 Main B’D problem (Thermal Printer, Feed motor, Auto-cutter)
6-6-1 Thermal Printer problem
 Print Operation Fail
→ Check the harness between Printer Joint B’D and Main B’D, if it is connected or not.
→ Check the harness between Printer Joint B’D and Printer Module, if it is connected or not.
→ Check the TPH voltage.(VPH=+8.5V),
→ Check the Control Signal on micom (data, clk, latch, strobe)
→ Check the Thermister of printer.
→ Check the ADC port of micom.
→ Check related circuit & component whether short or not.
 Feed motor Operation Fail
→ Check the harness between Printer Joint B’D and Main B’D, if it is connected or not.
→ Check the harness between Printer Joint B’D and Printer Module, if it is connected or not.
→ Check the Voltage.(VPRT=+8.5V),
→ Check the Phase signal.
→ Check the Driver (BD6380EFV, U4) enable signal (1st)
→ Check the Driver (BD6380EFV, U18) enable signal (2st)
→ Check the sensor’s input(74LVC541, U14).
→ Check related circuit & component whether short or not.
6-6-2 Auto-cutter problem
 cutting Operation Fail
→ Check the harness between Printer Joint B’D and Main B’D, if it is connected or not.
→ Check the harness between Printer Joint B’D and Printer Module, if it is connected or not.
→ Check the Driver (BD6380EFV, U2) enable signal.
→ Check the sensor’s input.(CPU Port )
→ Check related circuit & component whether short or not.
