Chapter 4 Menu Settings
To preset the 24F STARTING TC using the
numeric buttons
1 Press the TC button, and then press the ALT
button.
The ALT+TC menu appears.
2 Press the [F3] (TCCONV MENU) button.
The TC CONVERT menu appears.
3 Enter the time code in the data entry window with
the numeric buttons.
2 Press the [F3] (TCCONV MENU) button.
The TC CONVERT menu appears.
STARTING TC: Time code used as a reference
when converting time code.
JUMPING TC: The loopback point for converting
time code with STARTING TC as the reference
point, and the conversion done in both forward
and reverse directions.
The time code is discontinuous at this point.
The following table shows an example of how the 25
frame time code is discontinuous when the operating
frequency is 25PsF, the playback tape is 24 frames,
and STARTING TC is 01:00:00:00, and 24F

settings.

Function
Specifies whether the time code
is converted to time code or not.
Specifies whether the time code
is displayed or not on two lines
in the HOME, TC, and PF
menus along with the converted
time code.
Press to preset the STARTING
TC using the numeric buttons.
Press to enter the current time
code as the STARTING TC.
Select to exit the TC CONVERT
menu.
