7 If the air compressor fails to start and
the hydraulic pressure is low:
A. Check the red power wire for + 12
volts DC.
B. Check to see if the air tank
pressure is higher than the system
reset pressure (usually 110 psig).
C. Remove the ventable relief valve
and check for contamination holding
the valve in the open condition.
Check for o-ring damage.
8 If the compressor fails to start and
the hydraulic pressure is high:
A. Check power to hydraulic
solenoid coil at Furnas switch
9 If the motor flow is 12 GPM and the
compressor is turning less than 1700
RPM the motor has degraded enough
to allow hot oil to pass through
without producing speed. Rebuild or
replace motor.
