1) Use the UP/DOWN scroll button to select Keyboard Test from the Tool

Self-test menu (Figure 8-6), and then press the OK button.

2) Press any key to start test. When you press a key, the key name should

display on screen. If the key name does not display, the key is not

functioning.

3) Double press ESC to return to previous menu.

Update Mode

This function enables the tool software to be updated through a Mac-based

or Windows-based computer.

 To update your scan tool, you need the following items.

• A Mac-based or Windows-based computer or laptop with USB ports

• The provided USB cable

The tool must be registered prior to updating it. Register the tool on our

website: www.autel.com. Visit the site to download software update

programs, research tools and retrieve warranty information.

NOTE

Prior to registration, please confirm your network is working properly.

2. If you already have an Autel account, Sign In with your account ID and
