the magic is done between the antenna and the first chip, the 
output can then be further amplified with less noticeable loss 
of quality.

Tech Tip:
PU16 and PU8 can lift terminally weak or diffused signal. As well as a larger 
capture area, they give extra gain, narrower beamwidth and higher front 
to back ratio than a single phased array antenna. Mount PU16 securely as 
movement of narrow beamwidth antennas can cause signal fade.
