Technical information
Antennas & Mounting Hardware
20 ALFA through to 20/6269 are 20 element narrow
bandwidth antennas, with a genuine ±12° horizontal
and ±23° vertical half power angles.
They drag in signal from afar like nothing else!
Tech Tip:
Stacking two identical antennas doubles the signal power,
providing an extra 3dB. Four antennas, an extra 6dB. Fracarro
stacking couplers can be used to stack many different antennas.
Stacking also halves beamwidth and sidelobes whilst improving
front to back ratio. Space of about 1.5 wavelengths between
each 20 element antenna is required.
