Check mains connection
Check mains fuse
Distorted sound Output is short circuited

Check speaker loads for shorts
Reduce input level at source
Reduce volume levels
No sound but amp is on Volume controls down
Amplifi er has overheated
DC fuse(s) blown
Check volume controls
Check for obstructions above and below
