The IP serial console unit provides four types of operation modes. These are described in the

following sections.

Note :

■ The Power Control Mode is available in port #1 only.

■ The last port (e.g., Port #16 of IPCS-16) can also be used as External ESP (Entry Serial Port) in

Serial-to-Serial operation mode. Refer to the section Serial-to-Serial Function for details.
