Since its foundation in the year 1919, Aurora, the first
Italian fountain pen manufacturer has characterised its
products by combining the inspired craftsmanship of
the finest artisans with the most modern technologies available.
Throughout its over 80 years of activity Aurora has marked
some of the most important pages in the history of writing.
Small masterpieces which reflect the Noble Origins of Italian culture,
artistic tradition and design flair.
The revolutionary one-hand-operating mechanism of the Asterope
and the Etiopia (Empire pen) with its soluble ink granules,
are just two examples of the unique creative genius of the
30’s which has led to many Aurora pens becoming rare
collectors items sought after the world over.
As Aurora’s fame spreads around the globe,
it’s pens continue to receive accolades, awards and
prizes including the prestige and honor of
being the first writing instruments to be
displayed at the MOMA, the Museum
of Modern Art in New York.
