2. Safety instructions
1.2 Technical specifications
Control box:
- Input V AC, 50 Hz (or 220/240/110 V
AC, 50/60 Hz, depending on the
model.)
Drive motor:
- Leg, back, neck motor: 24 V DC
Maximum continuous operating time
2 minutes per 20 minutes, 2 minutes
on, 18 minutes off.
Remote control with cable
- Coiled flexible cable 24 V.
or
RF remote control
- 3 Volt cordless RF handset;
- 2 AAA batteries.
2.1 General
■ Read the instructions carefully
before using the AVS box spring.
■ Examine the AVS box spring
frequently for signs of wear or
damage. If there are such signs or if
the appliance has been misused,
return it to the supplier prior to any
further use.
■ The AVS box spring should be
assembled by an Auping specialist
only.
■ Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the
AVS box spring.
■ Do not use the bed as a trampoline
or stepladder.
■ Do not smoke in bed, and keep
burning objects away from the bed.
■ Use an AVS box spring in
combination with an Auping
mattress.
2.2 Adjustable AVS box springs
■ The AVS box spring control system
and motors are operated on safe
low voltage current.
■ Only place the bed in a dry room.
Because of the electrical
components it is not permitted to
place the bed in a damp room.
