How to install

Once your August Smart Deadbolt Kit is fully installed,

download the free August App. Create a new account

or log into your existing one.

Select SET UP A DEVICE from the sidebar menu.

Then pick SET UP A SMART LOCK and SMART LOCK

3RD GENERATION. Follow the in app instructions to

complete set up of smart lock features.

Using your smartphone camera, scan

the QR code. You'll be directed to a

step-by-step installation guide.
