A COMpact S

module can be used to extend the PBX by adding 1 internal S

port. A COMpact
ISDN module can be used to extend the PBX by adding an internal S

port or an internal U
P0
port.
An internal S
0
port is suitable for connecting one of the following terminal devices:
COMfortel 1100/1500/2500/2500 AB system telephone (as of firmware version 4.0B)
COMfortel DECT system telephone
ISDN telephone in compliance with the Euro ISDN Standard (DSS1)
ISDN PC controller in compliance with the Euro ISDN Standard (DSS1)
Important: The power consumption of the end devices on an S
0
port may
total a maximum of 2.5 W.
An internal U
P0
port is suitable for connecting one of the following terminal devices:
COMfortel 1100/1500/2500/2500 AB system telephone (as of firmware version 4.0B)
All other devices can only be connected to the U
P0
port via a U
P0
/S
0
adapter. It provides a S
0
port with two Western sockets by converting 2-wire to 4-wire. It is suitable for connecting the
following terminal devices:
COMfortel DECT 900/900C system telephone
ISDN telephone in compliance with the Euro ISDN Standard (DSS1)
ISDN PC controller in compliance with the Euro ISDN Standard (DSS1)
Important: The power consumption of the end devices on a U
