Status Displays
To control the operating state, the PBX provides various status displays.
Status Displays on the LEDs
The LED display field on the unit is used to keep track of the operating state.
Note: If ECO mode (Energy Savings Function) is enabled, all of the LEDs are
disabled and no display is possible. Exception: In only "Power" LED on ECO
mode, all of the LEDs, except for the "Power" LED, are disabled. This is not
lit constantly, but flashes slowly in green.
"Line" LED: Operational/busy state of the existing exchange lines
Off At least one call channel is not ready. (This overridden by
display of the busy state.)
Lit in green All call channels are ready and available.
Flashes green COMpact 3000 VoIP: The connection to a modem (DSL, cable,
sat) exists. No VoIP account has been registered.
Flashes orange At least one call channel is being used.
Lit in orange All call channels are being used.
"Messages" LED: Status of the message memory:
Off There are no messages.
Lit in green There are no new messages. All existing messages have been
viewed, but not yet deleted.
Flashes green There is at least one new message that has not yet been read.
Flashes red The message memory is full.
"WAN" LED: Status of the Ethernet interface (only for the COMpact 3000
VoIP, Ethernet port WAN):
Off No Ethernet connection to a computer/network exists.
Lit in green An Ethernet connection to a computer/network exists.
Flashes green An Ethernet connection exists and packets are being trans-
mitted.
