Configuring and Managing the PBX
Emergency Call
Creating Emergency Numbers
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External analog port (only COMpact 3000 analog) or external S
0
port (only
COMpact 3000 ISDN or COMpact ISDN module available as an option) or external VoIP
channel (only COMpact 3000 VoIP)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Emergency call > Settings.
2. Select or clear the Emergency call has priority check box.
Note: The emergency call priority switch is enabled for the entire PBX.
Further steps:
– Save your settings before you leave the page.
Creating Emergency Numbers
Up to ten external telephone numbers can be entered as emergency numbers.
Note: The emergency numbers 110 and 112 are assigned in the factory
settings.
The creation can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Emergency call > Emergency numbers.
Enables emergency call priority switch.
Disables emergency call priority switch.
